As the deathly veil of Dragonblight’s spread continues to pour over the kingdom of Draksborne, desperation mounts. The secret order of Psithars following the ailment’s origin are drawn to the kingdom’s capital of Sundestra, where the peculiar diseases puppeteer stands to make one final, decisive move. With an army of Mind Flayers at his call, and thousands of souls claimed for his own power, a once-great leader of the Psithars aims to ascend to godhood, contorting himself into a twisted amalgamation of Mind Flayer and Lich. With his newfound power, he aims to destroy Namneri’s Chalice and cast down the Tharameni. There is little left that can stop him, yet some of the realm’s mightiest warriors are forced to make a desperate stand.
